Category:System Design
From iis-projects
In a system design you are expected to put together a working prototype using off-the shelf components, microprocessors, FPGAs and get a demonstrator to work. Depending on the system this may require you to:
- Search for components that satisfy the requirements and are available for purchase
- Read and understand data sheets
- Design and solder a PCB
- Program a microcontroller or a microprocessor system
- Write specifications for future ASIC or FPGA systems that would make the system run faster, with less power or make it smaller overall.
