Assesment of novel photovoltaic architectures.jpg

Short Description

For the development of novel PV-cell architectures we want to explore equivalent circuits. During the semester thesis you will develop a simulation of a set of such circuits. Based on these simulations you will study the behavior of these circuits and the possibilities to control them. Finally the influence of parasitic elements and the fundamental limitations to efficiency and energy transport should be understood. For interested students, there is the option to verify some of the simulation results experimentally. An extension of the work in form of a master thesis or lab assistant is possible.
