A typical Bluetooth Piconet network (Chaudhry, M. J., Zahid, M., Saleemi, F., & Chaudhry, F. J. (2010). Routing technique for inter slave bonding in Bluetooth scatternets formation. situations, 4, 6.)

Short Description

A BLE network is needed to progress with our current project aiming at the correction of patients' motion in a MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) environment. In order to receive the data from the different sensors used to detect the movement during the scan, a Bluetooth network in master/slave (central/peripheral) configuration is needed.

The goal of the project is to set up a network with a central and several peripherals, to produce some data locally and to measure on the central the resulting throughput coming from each peripheral. The evaluation boards needed for this project have to run on batteries such that the setup could be directly tested in the MRI environment.
